Zeroth started with a pattern that kept repeating inside Australian businesses. The software was bought, the webinars were sat through, sometimes a consultant was paid. Six months later the tools sat unused while the team did the work by hand. The software was often good. Nobody had built it into how the business works.

That became the approach. We connect the tools a business already owns (Xero, Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint) into one place to work, set up with its voice, its roles and a full audit trail, and automate the manual work in between. Your team keeps working in the tools it already logs into.

Everything we build, you own. The directive, the integrations, the configuration, all committed to a repository you control. No lock-in, and each further engagement is your choice.

We work with a small number of businesses at a time so each engagement gets full attention, from the first workshop through to the live handover and beyond.

Peter McEvey

Peter spent the early part of his career as a mechanical engineer in the Australian Defence Force. Upon discharge he moved into the defence industry, taking on roles across systems engineering, integrated logistics support and reliability engineering. The common thread is making complex systems simple to run.

He founded Zeroth after finding that businesses were falling rapidly behind what AI and automation can now achieve. He kept seeing the same pattern: teams buying tools and licences that never turn into anything running, so six months on the tools sit unused and the work is still being done by hand. Zeroth builds the systems into how a business works.

Peter works hands-on across every engagement, from the first workshop through to the live handover. No sales engineers, no handoff to a delivery team you never met. When you work with Zeroth, you work with the person who builds it.

He is based in Brisbane and works with businesses across Australia.
